ABOUT ME

We are creative people who love a good adventure. We love meeting new people and hearing their stories. We've wanted to go abroad for some time, but haven't done it yet! Marcus is hilarious (and a super foxy). Chloe is silly and a planner. And we love each other very much. We are ready to hop the water and see where we land.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are interested in being on the couch. Our current living situation doesn't allow for us to have someone on ours. But possibly in the future we'll host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far we've just been planning our trip (landing in Belgium). So far we've only gotten invites from people in Ghent/Gent (excited to see that friendly place) We're really hoping to fly by the seat of our pants and go many places for the month that we'll be abroad.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A moment that left me awestruck was a two summers ago when I was on lake Wikkiup with my husband. I was laying on a raft while he held on and tip toed us around the water. There was an eagle flying around the lake looking for prey. She was beautiful. And there were storks swooping down to the water and back up again. Every time the storks swooped down we would try to get out of the water as fast as we could, yelling, "We don't want a baby!" I guess that's just our scene of humor. When we got back in the water Marcus was hovering over me giving me the biggest grin. I can close my eyes and picture the blue of the sky and every bead of sweat from the hot summer. I was in awe that I could be so loved by such a beautiful and silly man. -Chloe

I want to learn to be braver, take risks and understand other cultures. I'm not sure exactly what I have to share. I guess I could teach someone how I go through life, because every body does it differently. -Chloe
