About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm a writer. I write adverts and magazines, press releases, websites and, at the moment, dissertations. I'm an extraordinarily bad speller. My head is hungry to learn at the moment. It's tiring but exhilarating to have to constantly feed it. I'm a nurtuter, and essentially, a homebody - not a traveller at all really. Small doses of time away suit me but I still have an enormous curiosity about the world.
PHILOSOPHY
I live to enjoy myself and the people around me. I like to eat, exercise and indulge mostly and supplement this with a little bit of work - preferably doing something rewarding and fun. I'm lucky because my job is pretty much all positive. My philosophy is that as little time as possible should be wasted on negative emotions - I believe that we can challenge ourselves to be happier (once our basic needs are met) and we can succeed.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been a couch supplier before - vicariously when my lodger had someone to sleep on our sofa. I liked it. I would like to do more. I would also like to meet up with a few local people when I visit San Fransisco at the start of March.
Interests
Cooking is a big interest and food. I don't like to talk about food - I just like to make it or eat it. Unusual restaurants always appeal. Swimming and reading are other major pastimes. Politics interest me, in particular feminist politics. I like to drink glasses of ice cold white wine and chat about the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too little time - I'm at work!.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing things I have done are too private to chat about in a place like this - the most amazing things are about intimacy (not necessarily sexual...)
