Hi fellow couch surfers! I'm Chloe. I was born in California and have lived there all my life (besides one year in France when i was 5, and one 6 month stint in Berlin after I graduated college).

I was born in the heart of Silicon Valley, in Palo Alto. At the time, growing up in Palo Alto didn't feel too special, but I guess it must have influenced me somehow, because I ended up studying computer science in college and becoming a software engineer. After a year though, I realized it wasn't what I wanted to do, so I quit. Now I'm taking time off to explore my own interests and have some fun :)

I listen to almost every type of music. Some of my favorites are Joanna Newsom, Anais Mitchell, Rilo Kiley and Amy Winehouse.

It's hard to pick a favorite book or movie, but my favorite TV show is Avatar the Last Airbender. I watched it as a child and I've watched it 2 more times since.

I lived in a student coop with 123 other college students in a giant fortress with murals all over the walls! It was a fabulous experience. I learned amazing chopping skills by cooking dinner for 124 people, the diversity of people expanded my world view, I learned how to live cooperatively, and most importantly, I made some lifelong friends :)

I can teach you about programming. It's hard to learn in a short amount of time, but I can show you the basics to get you started.

I want to learn Spanish since my sister in law is from Spain and her family doesn't speak english. The rest of my family speaks Spanish so I'm the only monolingual one :(

I love to share music with people and discuss movies, television, politics, hopes/dreams, the meaning of life, etc. You name it, I want to talk about it. Except sports. I know nothing about sports.

I'm a good listener, because I believe everyone has something to teach me :)
