ABOUT ME

I am a passionate, creative and outgoing traveller who lives to explore. I am a lively, thankful and gracious person and loves the finding the little treasures and moments in life that are normally overlooked. I love fitness, hiking, running, organic and health foods. Really easy going, cleanly and up for adventure! Love pushing myself, mind and body, beyond my limitations.

PHILOSOPHY

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the harder you look, the less you see. So many people rush by life, cocooned in their own world and missing the world around them. Whether it's the way a swan swoops into the river as an oar from a rowing boat licks the surface; or the sun setting behind splattered clouds. There is beauty and incredible moments happening all the time in everything, just take things a bit slower, be more open to experiences and open your eyes. I have learnt not to spend your time comparing and sizing up your own stories and experiences with everyone else's, they're all different so stop worrying and start carving your own way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

New to this but see it as an awesome oppourtunity to meet new like minded people and learn about things tourists don't hear about! Local knowledge is like gold dust, amazing the things you can find if you're just open minded, chat to people and are raring for adventure!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First time couch surfing this way have been kindly taken in by friends on travels and relatives as I move around places. Otherwise usually am booked in to hostels which is a truly epic experience, but can be difficult to meet true locals and learn the little secrets and history of where you are.
