ABOUT ME

Hello !!
I'm Shinwoong Jo from South Korea.
I live in Praha (Czech Republic) now because I'm studying here as an exchange student.

I know my characteristic is more outgoing rather than introvert. Sometimes I feel shy when I meet a new person, but only sometimes. =) I'm very curious about something new. And especially for a new friend. I really like to make a new friend from different country.

I wanna make a local friend who live in the place where I visit because the most of my foreign friends are living in here, Praha now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Actually, I had no idea about CS.
When I told my friend that I'll go to London, Barcelona, Italy and Paris as a trip, he said I should try this CS.
Because this is the best way to make a new friend and to experience real local people, home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As I mentioned above, I've had no experience from this website yet.

But from daily life in Praha, I have some kind of Couchsurfing experiences.

My friend's friends oftenly visited here and I usually became a guide for them. Many friends really liked this place. Some of them stayed at hostel, but some friends just stayed at this dormitory for a while.

Otherwise, I've been to Cesky Krumulov where is famous for tourist in Czech Republic. I have a friend who lives in here, so I stayed his home. The family really welcomed us and we had a lot of fun. I could try real local Czech food and I love it!

Eventhough I haven't experienced couchsurfing via this website, I believe I can be a quite nice surf and host.

Interests

Travelling.
I prefer to do sight-seeing than shopping!

Making a new friend.
I made a lot of new friends from Praha life. I still want to make new friends from all over the world!

Party.
Actually, I was not familiar with a party in South Korea but now I like it. I'm not a kind of party animal. I enjoy dancing with friends and making friends.

I like to listen to Billboard chart.

My favorite songs in these days are 'If I die young by The Band Perry' and 'The Only Exception by Paramore'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1.SKYDIVING!!

It was AWESOME!
I went to a small countryside airport near Prague and we took a old airplane!
They took us to sky (4.0km high) and we jumped!!

The 1 minute of free fall made me crazy.
The most memorable 1minute ever!

2.I've been to North Korea!

Because I'm from South Korea, usually we can't get in to their boarder.
But only few areas are allowed for tourists. Mt.Geumgang was one of the openned place so I've been to their as a tourist!
It was really really beautiful place ever!

But unfortunately!
We can't go to there anymore because the relationship between two country is quite bad these days..! Oops!
