ABOUT ME

Hello, World! I'm Meghan. I'm a graduate student in Sociology who's particularly interested in race, ethnicity, nationalism, postcolonial studies, language, collective identity, and the like :) I love to travel, and I really enjoy the challenge of assimilating into new contexts: learning the layout of new cities, picking up a few words of new languages, trying new types of food. I should also note that I'm a vegetarian, which has posed a challenge in some countries (*ahem* France) and been an absolute pleasure in others (*ahem* India).

I had a wonderful experience couch surfing in Mauritius last spring, and I look forward to more such experiences in Amsterdam this summer!
