Hey, my name is Choert and I am absolutely in love with my life. I was born South Africa and moved to America with my mom, dad, and little brother when I was 11 years old. I love anything that has to do with the outdoors and I love music. I have the four Led Zeppelin symbols tattooed on my forearm because I LOVE LED ZEPPELIN. My hobbies include rock climbing, singing, playing as many instruments as I can get my hands on, and spreading love to every single person that I come in contact with. I am a firm believer that love is the answer to all questions, and live my life with peace, love and positivity to the best of my ability. I love dogs, cats, and being happy.

I am on Couchsurfing because I am currently enrolled in an 18-month humanitarian program called One World Center. Me and my team of 3 other volunteers are traveling all over the eastern part of the United States in order to fundraise and spread the world about our cause.

I love reading dystopian books such as 1984 and the Giver, I love almost any kind of music I can dance to (not that I don't love classic music, it's just not my vibe), and I love movies that make you think about life and touch your heart. I also love every Quinton Tarantino movie.

I'm still stoked on the fact that I was able to bathe and swim with elephants in Thailand. Looking such a big beautiful animal in the eye and seeing that it is the same as the eye of every other person is just such a humbling and amazing feeling to have been able to share.

I can teach Afrikaans, guitar, and ukulele, I can learn anything because the mind is never done developing and there is always room to learn new things, and I can share peace, love, and positivity because that is what life is all about.
