I struggle in the working system so I quit my nice paying job and disappointed my parents and now travelling the world. I am quite nihilistic, that I think there is no ultimate meaning in the world. My idols are Fernando Pessoa and Albert Camus. My current life philosophy is epicureanism/stoicism, living a simple life without all illusions, keeping a calm mind that freely accepting circumstances without being affected too much.

Travelling is a great way for me to grow out from my ignorance, biases, and make me a more open minded person. I plan to travel in coming years only doing couch surfing and hitchhiking and live a very frugal life. I want to meet different people, try different cuisines, wander in unfamiliar streets, camp in unimaginable places, and listen to tales of the locals.

I love all kind of animals (less for insects :P), I enjoy spending time cuddling with them. I love hiking and camping in wild nature. I enjoy outdoor sports such as Scuba diving, skiing, cycling, swimming, skating, and would like to learn how to surf. I love music across all genres but especially classical music like Beethoven, Erik Satie, Chopin. I play some guitar and piano too. Favourite pastimes are singing, reading, cooking, wandering around streets and talking to every cat I encounter.

A man of no ambition, no fixations, no illusions. A wanderer who is simply satisfied by new experiences and fulfilled by sights of endless unknown adventures!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I tried travelling in hostels and not every time you get the chance to hang out with fellow travel mates. Especially when you are quite bad at initiating as an introvert (MBTI: ~INFT/INPT). Couch surfing forces me to engage fully with locals and make the most out of my journeys.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camped overnight by a small frozen lake on a Chauki Mt near Georgia/Russia border in winter 2024. At midnight it was -12 degree, stars flooded sky and moon shone gently on the snow-covered frozen lake. It felt like we were walking on the Moon.
