ABOUT ME

I am a typical Rio girl. I love spending time with my friends, soaking under the sun at the beach, traveling, having a beer at a bar or at a friend's house...
I'm pretty outgoing and love meeting new people. I will do my best to make sure you can enjoy your time in Rio to the fullest, and hopefully make you wanna come visit again!
I love my city and my country and I will be happy to answer any questions you have, if I can. If not, we'll figure out a way to find out the answer.
I went to a Swiss school, so I do know how to speak French, only it's a bit rusty since I haven't practiced in a long time. But I will be love to practice it if a French surfer comes over! I speak both English and Spanish fluently, so we won't have a problem there. And even though I spent a month in Florence taking Italian classes, my Italian is pretty basic, since I would show up hung over or even drunk to class most of the time. Don't really remember much of what I learned, but I had a fucking blast! All is well.
But if you're a traveler from outside Brazil and wants to practice some Portuguese, I will be happy to help you in any way I can!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to have fun and enjoy life. I'm blessed to live in one of the most fun, amazing cities in the world, and I'm very thankful for that. I love people, no matter their background. Anyone will be welcomed inside my home, I don't care where you come from, what language you speak, or what you look like. I think our generation has a great opportunity through the internet to connect and bond with people we wouldn't even imagine to meet 20 years ago. I'm all for culture exchange!

I've had this account for a long time, but haven't really used it until now. And the reason I decided to actually start using it now is because I figured most places must be full because of the World Cup, so why not offer my cozy corner to the late-comers?

I absolutely love movies and music. I have a bunch of DVDs surfers can feel free to watch any time they want, even though most of them are at my mom's house now, as are my books. I have a few here, but they're all in Portuguese.
And music... Well... Humanity has yet to come up with something that's better than music in this world.
