Norwegian engineer and journalist, working as an energy analyst, interested in well-written reportage and other literature. I travel as often as I can. Lived in Oman and the USA for shorter periods as a kid, been interrailing in Europe twice and travelled from Moscow to Burma in the fall of 2012.

A late Friday evening request turned into the best weekend in Berne. Only great experiences!

兴趣

Literature and coffee is an excellent combo (and especially reading local fiction and drinking local coffee). Otherwise I enjoy British comedy, Indian and Italian cooking, European train travels (including Belgian beer and talkative Germans), Mongolian sunrises, Thai sunsets, Lao bakeries (!), Burmese pagodas, all these people!

I love Ryszard Kapuscinski's reportage, Calvino's inventive novels, Barthelme's and Carver's and Chekhov's and Vonnegut's stories, Hamsun's romance, and the excellent graphic novel Asterios Polyp by David Mazzucchelli. And, I'm no big reader of biographies, but Robert Caro's of LBJ is extraordinary.
