ABOUT ME

I'm a very cheerful person and I love sports, music and of course travelling. Whenever it's possilbe I'm outdoors and I'm constantly keen on all kinds of sports activities. Also I'm very much interested in intercultural topics. My daughter and I live in a quite remote area, but if you are interested in Austrian small town living - we can show you some nice places and things to do here. Also, I teach at the local high school and am always keen on bringing different people to my classes! :)

PHILOSOPHY

"Glück ist, im Leben seinen Platz und seine Aufgabe gefunden zu haben" which means "happiness is having found one's place and one's mission in life"*

...and I believe there's many places and many missions in everyone's life :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love the idea of this project: trusting other people and helping them with the things you can provide!
Whenever I travel I try to get to know couchsurfers and all the experieces I've had have been excellent. As I live in a quite remote place I don't get many requests, but I've hosted two people by now and it was a wonderful experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started couchsurfing in summer 2009 when I visited the BeNeLux states with a friend and we had several wonderful experiences. In 2011 I did a few bike tours in Slovenia and Austria and again had great hosts.
