About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find the adventures that lurk at home.

ABOUT ME

Hullooo! My name is Chris and I love travel and adventure and just plain hanging out with folks. I graduated in 2010 from Hampshire College having majored in story telling with a focus on fairy tales, then walked 330 miles of the West Coast, before winding up in Boston and spending the end of 2010/all of 2011 working at a board games and puzzles store. If you'd like recommendations on games, mechanical puzzles, or jigsaws I'll gladly give you some (and I'm always down for suggestions too)!I'm a big fan of photography (of the digital variety), mixology (ask me for a drink suggestion!), and B-movies. Of course, I like a lot of other stuch too, but those three are a good place to start I suppose.Currently living in Boston, holding down a big ol' grownup job and discovering what adventures lurk in and around this here city.

PHILOSOPHY

Never stop dancing. Never stop caring.

"The unexamined life is not worth living." -Socrates

"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At present I'm not able to volunteer a couch (booo) so I've been using CouchSurfing as a way to find out what's happening where I live and to meet fascinating new folks.

Teach: I can teach you how to build a computer, how to mix some delicious cocktails, the ins-and-outs of video compression, how to get better pictures out of your camera, and how to solve a Rubik's cube.Learn: I would love to learn how to perform various repairs on a car, how to cook more meals (preferably vegetarian, though I'm a meat eater), how to pick a lock, and how to use Linux.
