About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see at least a little pocket of the world before too many responsibilites tie me down anywhere
ABOUT ME
I am a female 18 years young and I enjoy taking in as many of the five senses each day as I can get. I am excitedly, albeit nervously alone, Europe-bound on March 22 for 5 weeks. I have a decent sum of money saved up, but I really don't have any clue how much I'll run through. Due to my solo status, I want to atleast meet up with people who can show me around their cities, but open couches will probably become necessary later in my trip.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live happily, to keep myself entertained, to never be too angry, to live according to some set of personal morals, to not hurt others, to be genuine, to be infectious; mostly so I can feel okay with myself when things are done.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I cannot currently host any CS2-ers because I'm living with my parents, and they just don't have the openness that I do. I plan on travelliing regularly throughout my life, and opening my couch to fellow travellers once I have my own couch.
Interests
My interests include, but are not limited to, reading and writing,cooking/baking, music-listeing, animals, travelling (despite my inexperience), and many sillier things such as puppets and dancing and things made out of cardboard, I think you get the idea.

Music, Movies, and Books
These are some guilty pleasures I've recently been interested in, because I like judging people by their gp's: My Chemical Romance and Twilight, but I get embarrassed talking about those things.
Music: Andrew Bird, Talking Heads, Arcade Fire, TV on the Radio, MGMT, Dylan, Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Janis Joplin, Stones, Chili Peppers, Regina Spektor, Bright Eyes, Animal Collective, Avett Brothers, Felice Brothers, Beck, Johnny Cash, Devendra Banhart, MIA, and others but that gives an impression.
Books: I recently read Life of Pi, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Break it Down, and On the Road. I'm so stereotypical for saying my two favorites are probably The Bell Jar and Catcher in the Rye, and a favorite author is Kurt Vonnegut.
Movies: I am too easily enchanted by movies, crummy or great. To Kill a Mockingbird, Amelie, Silence of the Lambs, Garden State, the Notebook, Inherit the Wind, the Breakfast Club and all the other John Hughs movies, Good Will Hunting, Eternal Sunshine..., and probably 9/10 of the movies I've ever seen, because I just love movies.
