Overview
About Me
I'm adventuring! I quit my job in early May 2017 to travel and experience newness and connect with people...and see lots of nature =]
I graduated college in 2016, and the stationary life wasn't serving me, so I'm very much looking for new places to go, cities to explore, people to meet, etc.
I am a loving, communicative, and friendly person who just wants to experience more.
Thank you sincerely for checking out my profile and considering me as a guest in your home.

I quit my job in early May and started travelling the US, and I'm pretty hooked on the newness that comes with every day of travelling.
I love connecting with new people on the road and giving+receiving.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books- have been into science fiction/fantasy novels for a while now! all about it. Also self-help/spirituality books
Movies-lots of sci-fi, mystery, fantasy
Music- difficult to say :) I grew up on 60s-70s rock/blues, then 90s hiphop...
I really like lot of instrumental music like Emancipator, El Ten Eleven, Tycho...
Singer/songwriters such as Jack Johnson & Brett Dennen.
Reggae is always a winner
I'm into certain spiritually-driven music like Trevor Hall & Nahko and Medicine for the People
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have a story from after college graduation of a freaking epic hike up a Costa Rican volcano in a downpour, but what's really alive for me right now is a hitchhiking adventure I just got back from. I hitched from Asheville, NC to Tampa, FL. I had never hitched before that.
It was something else. What an experience. I'm still processing it for sure. Sticking my thumb out as hundreds of cars go past, getting rides with people with the most UNIQUE stories. Lots of weirdness on the road hahaha.
Sleeping outdoors, sleeping in sheds, getting sunburnt, poison ivy, bug-bitten...but so many blessings too...
Out of the 11 rides I got from Asheville to Tampa, 3-4 offered me food/money, 1 gave me a place to sleep, I exchanged contact info with 3 of them too. Several of them went out of their route to get me to better spots for me to hitch from.
SO MANY BLESSINGS ON THE ROAD!
So, yeah. The experience was real up and down, very uncertain, and helped nurture my trust in the universe and other people.
Teach, Learn, Share
Oooo yeah! I love teaching and I have several areas I can teach.
**Fitness**
I'm super into movement. I've been training calisthenics (bodyweight exercises) for over 5 years, and have been doing handstands for 4 years now. I have lots of experience in endurance sports (rowing, running) as well as a good amount of weight training experience.
***Nutrition***
I've done a LOT of reading on nutrition topics and personal experience with different eating habits, too. I like talking to people about nutrition because there is so much false and outdated information we're exposed to on the subject.
**Music**
I've been playing guitar for 13 years, and also understand the basics of drums and bass guitar, and can play those. I have a lot of experience improvising and jamming with others. I have an *understanding* of the role of each instrument in a group setting...which is key. Very often players who are not used to playing with others tend to overstep their bounds by not being sensitive to the other instruments, and the sound is not so harmonious. So! I can teach you music theory, basics of jamming, or total beginner stuff on any of these instruments.
**Science!**
So I've been super hardcore into nature and science from a really young age. My bachelors is in Biology, with focus on Ecology. I'm totally down to teach about what I know, and learn about the ecosystems of new places I'm visiting.
I know this has all been about what I can offer teaching-wise, but I am equally if not more down to learn!!!
Teach me stuff, por favor.
I'm all about it.
