We are an English couple living and working in Manchester. I (Chris) studied a PhD in mathematical biology at the University of Manchester and now continue to work there whilst my partner (Ceri) works as a teacher in a local primary school.

We've decided to quit our jobs and head to South America! We have few plans for whilst we're out there (any suggestions greatly appreciated!). We're especially interested in learning to speak Spanish and we've been trying to teach ourselves. We'd love to meet up with some Spanish speakers in the UK before we go so that we can chat in Spanish and maybe we could help you with your English. Also, we'd love to meet people during our travels because we find the people we meet whilst travelling often lead to the best of times!

Centres d'intérêt

We love trekking, swimming in open water, cycling into the Peak District and have recently got into wild camping! We train for triathlons at a local club. It would be great to go for a walk whilst chatting Spanish with our new found friends!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

We've travelled from Santa Fe to San Fran, we hitched hiked through Mozambique and did the world's highest bungie jump...after eating oysters the day before...not advised!!

I'm sure we've got many more fun adventures on the horizon!
