My name is Chris and I am currently on a great Odyssey. I am from Washington state but I am hiking/hitch hiking across the United States from Florida back to Washington. I am very laid back and easy to get along with. I love meeting new people and making friends. Campfires and guitars are the top two ingredients for my happy place.

I am surfing to meet awesome new people! I often miss a large part of a towns culture when I pass through it and stealth camp through the night. I hope that by occasionally couch surfing I can discover the true colors of more towns and the people I meet.

I love music. I play the guitar, piano, bass guitar, banjo, and sometimes I will play the drums. I am an avid outdoorsman and enjoy hiking, fishing, identifying wild plants and trees. Running and competitive swimming has been a large part of my life and I dream of running a R2R2R in the Grand Canyon. I absolutely love rock climbing, and bouldering.

Growing up I was always reading. In school when other kids were on their phones, I was sneak-reading. I have read many books and the list would probably be too long to list. My preferred type of book now is non fiction; mostly philosophy. I enjoy books that stimulate thought and challenge my beliefs. I recently finished Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and it blew me away. I don't necessarily believe her philosophy, but it certainly challenged and tested me!
