Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I've couchsurfed with my dad a few times and he has hosted a bunch of couchsurfers. It is about time that I get my own profile!

But as for why I couchsurf, because it is awesome!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I try to watch as many movies as I can get my hand on. I am currently watching everything directed by the Coen Brothers (of Big Lebowski and Fargo fame). I enjoy independent and foreign ( movies the best, as well as crime thrillers and comedies (Snatch).

The main music I listen to is electronic. But not the cookie cutter techno that is blasted in some random club. I like instrumental hip hop beats, and chill out electronica. I don't mind dubstep, as long as it is melodic and not as many random sounds as the producer can cram into a 4 minute song.

I have read and reread the Harry Potter series countless times. I also enjoy surreal fiction (Harukai Murakami), and sci fi.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach you some awesome things about the stars, planets and the universe! (My PhD will be with a concentration in Astronomy) We walk around all day concentrated on the Earth, and forget about the crazy stuff going on all around us.
