Born London, but travel a lot, and enjoy meeting others. Everyone has a new story to tell. I look at the world through a different lens to many folk. I'm not a big drinker - do socially, but probably happier with a cuppa, and a chat with someone new.

I work in IT with software design and application support - but am often travelling around the world meeting clients or running demos. Or was till the Apocalypse!

I've stayed with some lovely people over the years, and learned a lot. I like the serendipitous nature of meeting others outside the somewhat limited friends, family and work colleagues spheres.

I am keen to allow others to share my home, as I am to be enabled to stay a others.

Everyone has something to teach, something to share, something to show. How will you make me smile, or be happier than I already am? Can you cook?

If I visit, I'll start by oiling your hinge on the squeaky door, and help you rearrange the books in your library so they are all in alphabetical order. Or something. Is it working yet?

Devised a project all on my own, and pushed to make it happen, against some odds. Ended up with two separate defence forces implementing the project, together with Red cross and Oxfam - in Bougainville. Sometimes a small voice can move mountains.
