Overview
About Me
I am a software developer. I mostly work from home. My main areas of work are data integration and data visualization - mainly for digital marketing. I am married (25 years) to a wonderful woman I met at a CMU graduation party. I have two brothers and a sister. My sister lives in Italy. My daughter is a student at Yale (major currently undecided).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My daughter told me I should join couchsurfing, and try using it for my travels. I hadn't heard of it until now, and I am enamored with the idea of meeting fellow travelers. I look forward to making friends and building my reference list on Couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Since I started learning the mandolin recently, I'm listening to more bluegrass. I also like jazz and rock. I played bass guitar in a rock band in high school. I am not much of a movie watcher - mainly watch whatever my family is watching. For books I like non-fiction, especially American history. Recently read and thoroughly "The Swerve" by Stephen Greenblatt. I've also recently rediscovered SciFi with the author Neil Stephenson.
