Hi. My name's Chris and I'm and English Teacher/Musician living in Portugal. I'm a traveller at heart and I've been lucky enough to travel to 6 countries in Asia, Australia, USA, Brazil and a lot of Europe in the past few years. I've had so many amazing experiences and the people I've met since I started travelling have changed my life so much for the better, I even met my wife whilst travelling in South-East Asia. Now I'm about to move to Brazil to join my wife and I'd like to end my time in Portugal with more positive experiences by meeting a few new people and creating some more great memories.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing so I can feel at home when I'm not at home. I also think it is so much more interesting than to just stay at a hotel or hostel and I imagine that you would get way better tips for the locals also. I've had this kind of experience with places on airbnb which I loved, the only downside is you have to pay and if you let me be honest, not paying is better. With that said though, if you are interest in English lessons or guitar lesson I can pay hosts with one of these if requested. Couchsurfing is a great concept and when I have a spare bedroom in my home I would love to welcome people into my home.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Played football with kids in a poor part of Myanmar. Also took photos of them and with them, developed them and gave them the pictures the next day. It was a little thing but it was the thing that inspired me most to want to help people when I saw how much the appreciated it.
