Educate the world that they need to let people out of the train before they can get in.
Hong Kong is one crowded place. I grew up in the suburbs but still there are just so many people around. Love to get away from the crowd and explore!
So currently I am freelancing as a stage manager, a proofreader, a translator-in-training.... things that pay (or sound fun).
I drink. Love to drink. And I clean houses after I get drunk so, yeah invite me : )
Oh and my family has American ties so that's why I talk like an American. Lots of people ask me about that so I reckon I'd answer it ere for people who read my profile : )
I believe that everyone has the right to do anything provided they are ready and willing to face the consequences.
Absolute right and absolute wrong only exist in Maths, so I don't judge people.
And I believe in George Carlin, my favourite comedian : D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Let people in. Run into people's houses. Stroll the streets with a bunch of CSer for the night.
I surfed at someone's attic in Amsterdam and my window had iron bars. Kinda felt like Anne Frank.
I don't usually host but I do have the tendency to provide last minute lodging for people too drunk to get home. I try not to make a habit of turning my house a haven for drunks but it happens.
Drinking beer on the street with a bunch of nice folks
Art (but not really an expert of it)
Music (Goold ole' broadway and a bit of alternative)
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Anything from Pride and Prejudice to Belle de Jour and beyond cept chicklits and glossy magazines
Music: Pretty much anything cept "I luv u but u dun luv me back me so sad" chick pop
TV: Community, Parks and Recreation, Game of Thrones, Grey's Anatomy, Family Guy, South Park, The Inbetweeners. In general quirky and inappropriate stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I arrived in lisbon at midnight, having lost the piece of paper with all the contact information of my friend there. I ended up finding my friend with the help of drug dealers and bar patrons.
Met four amazing backpackers and traveled with them in London for a week and we became very good friends!
Seen Chicago in West End.
Surfed at a Dutch musician's (whom I hosted when he was in Hong Kong) in Amsterdam. He offered free accommodation, free food and a tram card.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am quite good in both English and Cantonese so if you wish to learn Catonese I bet I can teach you.
I know how to cook instant boodles well so u feel less miserable eating it in a trip.
And I also know comfy spots for homeless people (where, I actually go sometimes with a bunch of people and some beer in hand) in case you are really desperate and cannot find a host..?
