After living in Vancouver BC and working in the tech startup industry, I recently moved to Whistler to work for Whistler Blackcomb - one of the world's best ski resorts!

I love to travel - I rode the trains around Europe a few years ago and finished a trip around Asia last year. I've just joined a former host on a trip through México and Central America!

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet travellers from all over the world. I get a lot of inspiration for my own travels from others, and am always eager to learn about corners of the world that I haven't visited yet!

Interessen

There are a lot of perks to living in Whistler - mainly enjoying world-class skiing and hiking! I grew up playing sports, and am a huge ice hockey fan. I also enjoy sailing, windsurfing, volleyball, and more.

I'm a certified scuba diver, and have had the opportunity to do some great dives in Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I read a lot, and am always looking for recommendations. A few notable books I've read recently are Slaughterhouse Five, Into the Wild, Where Men Win Glory, All The Light We Cannot See, Shantaram, Love in the Time of Cholera, The Old Man and the Sea, and The Hidden Life of Trees.

I like all sorts of different music. Some of my favourites are Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Radiohead, Queens of the Stone Age, Jimi Hendrix, The Smashing Pumpkins, Black Keys, Arcade Fire, The Beatles, and more.

I'm not picky with movies either, some of my favourites are The Godfather, The Shawshank Redemption, Inception, Anchorman, Pulp Fiction, and The Departed.

Scuba diving in the Philippines. There was a fleet of Japanese naval ships that were sunk near Coron island during WWII, and to dive into the wrecks and explore these old ships from the inside was unforgettable.

Travel experience! I've been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to do some serious travelling over the last few years. I'm a decent cook, and would love to help out with any meal prep.
