Obviously I can't be exhaustive here but:
Music: Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Elliot Smith, Daniel Romano, folk or blues in general, non-mainstream country. Pink Floyd, Radiohead, St. Vincent, Lotus Flower, anything psychedelic/progressive. World Music (as we call it in the US haha) , essentially anything, but I have a soft spot for Arabic and Indian classcial/folk music specifically.

Movies: Stupid movies, thoughtful movies, whatever really. Lynch, Tarantino, Bergman, Star Wars, whatever. A good movie is a good movie.

Books: Classical novels, Dostoyevsky, Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Homer. Science Fiction, Dune, Hitchhiker's Guide,

I've been a part of archaeological excavations for the past 5 summers and it never fails to amaze me that I get to be a part of something like that. Other than that, I've slid down the face of a volcano in Nicaragua in sneakers, and I've half-crawled into the main burial chamber of the Great Pyramid at Giza in Egypt. I can't claim to have anything need I can teach in a night or two, but I'm fairly well traveled and if you are interested in ancient history I can talk about that for hours. But, if you are like most people and that doesn't sound like your thing, I'm more than happy to listen, and maybe help-out with whatever. I know a thing or two about cooking and am happy to chip in.

I've been to a few places in my relatively short life and I love to share and compare my experiences. I would love to hear anything and everything about life in the places I visit from food, to language, to worldviews. I'm also happy to just relax in the local fashion and talk about whatever. I also love to cook and I don't mind cleaning up after myself either. If nothing else, I'm happy to earn my keep with chores or just helping out and do whatever.
