ABOUT ME

HI. My name is Chris Pope, Me and my girlfriend (Rach Lakeland) are taking 4 weeks out to travel America's historic Route 66. We are from a small city called Preston in England. We are very kind thoughtful people that like to have a good time, meet new people and explore new places. We have mapped out our route and found many places we want to go, looking through the internet we found couch surfing, hopefully we can find hosts for a night or 2 and get to know them as well as I have got to know the hosts I have lived with in Texas. I work in Texas each summer as a soccer coach and each week I live with a different host family so going into strangers houses, welcomed in of course, is kind of a specialty of mine!

I love to play, watch and coach soccer. I have also just finished my degree in England, I was studying sport. We love throwing ourselves out of our comfort zones and learning how to cope.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Like I mentioned I have worked as a soccer coach in Texas for 2 years now meeting a different family each week to stay with. I have cliff jumped in San Antonio, Floating a river in Austin, visited south padre island for July 4th and a lot of other real Texan things! We have also been to a few counties in Europe and our next adventure will either be travelling across Europe or taking a year out to work in Australia.
