Hi everyone!

My name is Chris (90’s kid) and live in the centre of Amsterdam with my husband Danny and Little kid Lou.

We both like to cook, talk about politics/societies, work on our French language and stay updated on tech and gadgets. During weekdays, I work as marketing manager for a tech company, whereas Danny works as a lawyer in a tech and impact focused law firm.

We had the luck that we found a very nice apartment in Amsterdam East, as it is very comfortable, spacious and it’s in a real nice neighbourhood.

We like to host people. Often we fit this in our daily lives, in which we also meet with our family and friends. Sometimes everything mingles together, whereas other times we might just offer you a bed and a chat:) (okay, and a coffee😉).

We receive a lot of request for hosting in Amsterdam. Often multiple a day. Therefore, in most cases we’ll have to refuse as we don’t own a big mansion (we’ll let you know when this changes, haha😎). To benefit people that really made the effort to check out who their requesting though, we kindly ask you to start your request with “CHEESE🧀” so we know that you’ve red our profile before asking.

We spoke about our interests before a bit:) Cooking is a major one, but also of course great wines!:)🥂Next to that, we like to learn about other cultures (wherefor we like to travel a lot) and discuss with others about the LGBT-situation in their country.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

We’re never afraid for an adventure, so we’ve gone through many of them. The biggest adventure is still going on, as it is being married with Danny👨‍❤️‍👨. Other cool things we’ve done is buying our first house online while being on holiday in India, organizing our wedding within 5 weeks after which Danny left to live in Paris to work 1 year for the Dutch embassy and doing groceries shopping in minus 25 degrees when I lived in Sweden (Gävle) for studies. We hope many more adventures come:)
