This is a joint profile for my partner, Mel, and I. We've been together for a few years and lived together in Sydney, Brisbane and Darwin. We have a love for travel, food and the outdoors. In our time together we've travelled South-East Asia, Europe, a lot of our own backyard (Australia), and most recently New Zealand.

A little about Mel: Mel is an emergency nurse who grew up in Sydney. She only started travelling after meeting Chris (with the exception of a small holiday to Fiji) and now can't get enough. She can't wait for the next trip to Canada. She loves creating new things in the kitchen, keeping fit in the gym, and spending time in the sun.

A little about Chris: Chris is an engineer whose work takes him to lots of different places. He caught the travel bug early from parents who loved to travel. Now very adept at washing the dishes, he also enjoys good food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We're on Couchsurfing because we think travel is amazing and that everyone should do it....so what better way is there to embrace travel than to help fellow travellers by providing a cosy home to share, and some stories and tips. What comes around goes around in this world so why not pay it forward!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are very clean and love to cook. So while we're all about exploring the food of the places we go, we love to cook for people and can guarantee a nice meal for a host!
