Overview
About Me
I’m a college student studying comparative literature and Philosophy at a tiny college in Annapolis, Maryland called St. John’s College. Originally, I’m from a small town near Lansing, Michigan, where I grew up with my two parents and a younger sister. Every summer for the past few years, I’ve managed to challenge myself and expand my perspective. Last summer I worked as a Summer Camp Director for a camp with over 500 participants from 7-17. The summer before, I worked a Colorado trail crew, spending every day swinging tools to build trails and every night in a tent. This summer, summer 2022, I’m hoping to continue the perspective-expansion with a trip to India, a country that will push me to step outside of my comfort zone and consider new ways of thinking and living.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I’m a lover of classics - a reader of Homer, Plato, Aristotle, Virgil, Dante, Chaucer, Shakespeare, Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, and Jane Austen.
Music: I’ll listen to anything.
Movies: Not a big movie watcher, but I enjoy a good movie every once in a while. Braveheart is my personal favorite.

Saved a life as an EMT!
Teach, Learn, Share
Oddly enough, I’m a swing dance instructor at my college, and I’m happy to teach! I play a bit of guitar, though I have much still to learn.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As much conversation as you’d like about politics, local or global, classic texts of the east or west, economics, history, or science.
A, hopefully, keen perception of modern American culture, urban and rural.
Emergency Medicine knowledge and advice.
