I am a single parent with 2 teenage sons. I live in Aldinga Beach, on the beautiful coastline, about 50 mins south of the Adelaide CBD. My house is very close to the beach, and not far from the local shopping centre.
I work locally in an aged care facility, and love my job!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

When I first moved here I stayed at the local caravan park. I made friends with many backpackers, and really enjoyed meeting and talking to people from different countries. I have remained friends with a French girl, who has since returned on a second visa with her family and stayed with me.
I also travelled in Africa in 2012, and loved listening to the travel stories from around the globe when I stayed at hostels.

Interessen

I live a fairly quiet life, and am probably not the best choice for couch surfers looking for a party!
I like walking along the beach, bush walking, camping, 4wdriving, reading and listening to music.

I like lots of different music, from Jack Johnson, through to Michael Franti, Rolling Stones, AC/DC, and blues.
Books, I read thriller, fantasy, mystery, adventure. Almost anything but romance☺
Movies....same as books, plus independent.

A caravan with a double bed and small fridge (sorry, no cooking facilities in van) located under some beautiful gum trees.
5 minute walk to the beach.
A peaceful place to stay close to the McLaren Vale wine region.
Bus stop in my street.
Full access to house for toilet, shower and kitchen facilities.
A relaxed, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

⚠⚠PLEASE NOTE:⚠⚠I am 2.5 hours from the airport by public transport!! Also the trainline ends 20 mins away from me in Seaford. The buses from Seaford to Aldinga stop around 9pm. I may be available to pick up/drop off from the train station, but cannot guarantee this.
If you are only in Adelaide briefly with no vehicle, and want to explore the city, then my place may not be the best choice.
