About Me

I'm Chris, 24 years old (born in 90). I have 2 older sisters. I live alone in England and my landlady/best mate is a single mother to a 10 year old girl, and they are basically my immediate family. I love making people happy and would give my last penny to someone who needed it. I'm very hard working and I love a good party. I'd say I'm more a 'drunk at the dinner table' than 'falling out of a nightclub' kind of guy, should one have to choose. I've been cooking since I was 15 and I was the head chef of a restaurant until August and now I'm pursuing my dream of making a living from music. I sing, play the guitar and also play basic piano. Ive just finished busking and gigging at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival which was fun! This is my first time travelling so I'm looking for some friendly faces who can just show me some cool places!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm travelling around in my car and I really want to meet new people and I think this is a great way to do so and gain a lot of new stories and first hand experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Kodaline, The Tallest Man on Earth, Ed Sheeran, Damien Rice, Newton Faulkner, Tim Minchin, Dylan

Movies - Shutter Island, About a Boy, Robin Hood, American Gangster, Wanted, Notting Hill (don't watch many movies)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a charity skydive and raised over £500 for cancer research in memory of my dad. It was the first time I'd been in a plane, I'm not good with heights but in all honesty it wasn't scary! It was so fun and I would do it again if I ever had chance.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach cooking, teach you to play the guitar and teach you basic piano skills. I can also teach basic music production if, and when, I decide to buy a MacBook!
