COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We only joined CS in July 2012, but we've since had a couple of lovely encounters with hosts in Poland! We're really excited to do more travelling and, when there's some space, to host some people too.

Chris- I'm very interested in learning different languages- I study French and German at university, and am always keen to pick up as much of any new language as I can. I also really enjoy performing and listening to many different styles of music.

Charlie- I'm basically interested in everything, except the stock exchange and golf.

Chris- Two contrasting places I've seen that left me amazed for different reasons were the San Francisco Bay, for showing how beautiful things constructed by humans can be, and the Cascades d'Ouzoud in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, for showing me how incredible natural constructions can be.

Charlie- I spent 6 months at a school in the Himalayan foothills for the children of Tibetan refugees. That was quite perspective-changing. Everest at sunrise. Sleeping a night in the Negev desert. An audience with the Dalai Lama (he was speaking in Tibetan. I didn't learn anything)!
