I started Couchsurfing during my semester abroad in Aveiro, Portugal in 2015.
The great experiences I had there made me to an more open person that is interested in people and cultures. For me Couchsurfing is not mainly for a place to stay but to engage local people, learn from their traditions and make an experience that is a little off the touristic road.
