ABOUT ME

I am a high school science teacher, but I love traveling and learning new languages. I'm very interested in other cultures, and I try to live like a local when I travel. I like to try new things, and I'm not just a bookworm; I like art, music, sports, and all kinds of other stuff. I am easy-going and I (think I) have a good sense of humor, but I'm also analytical enough that I'm bothered by the fact that "Personal Description" and "Your Interests" are two separate fields. Don't they seem related?

I have surfed and hosted several times. I have met some truly amazing people through CS, and I hope to continue to do so!

Zainteresowania

My main hobbies involve music. I play guitar in a jazz band, and I also play guitar and sing in a Beatles cover band (I'm "George" in the band). I also enjoy listening to music (recorded and live). Other than music, I'm an avid photographer. I shoot mostly medium format film on various crappy plastic cameras. I also make tintypes.

I like to cook, and learn new languages. Sometimes simultaneously.

I teach biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science at a high school, so I'm also interested in just about anything related to science. Oh yeah: I'm also a certified SCUBA diver.

1. Scuba diving around the world (Bonaire, Great Barrier Reef, Belize, etc.)
2. A month-long solo tour of Spain. That's not really a "moment" though.
3. I guess I need to have some more adventures... "Amazing" is a pretty strong word, so I guess I only have two.
