Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Northern Lights in Finland or Iceland ... Hobbit Huts in New Zealand... Third trip to Ireland... Completing my cross country US journey from Austin via Oklahoma City, Kansas City and Chicago, and on to NY.
ABOUT ME
I'm positive, outgoing and creative. I've written screenplays, plays and short form content. Real estate marketing is also among my skills. I taught myself how to play chords on the piano, so I can fake entire songs and sing along. Love to cook and enjoy a good Cotes Du Rhone red wine!
PHILOSOPHY
Laughter and human connection are the most important aspects of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting, looking to travel more and take some of my guests up on their offer to visit them!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted several amazing guests from around the world, learned so much about their cultures, and have been able to guide them toward the must-see sites of California. Now living in Austin, I will do my best to guide my guests toward all the hotspots here! I'm looking to host travelers who have a couch available in a city or country I'd like to visit someday.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a cinephile, I love films from all around the world, and I enjoy speaking with my guests about the film industry in their country, as well as the films we both have loved throughout the history of cinema. I am also a big fan of quality television programs like House of Cards, The Walking Dead, Penny Dreadful, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Veep and Game of Thrones. Music: Billy Joel, Elton John, Carbon Leaf, Stephen Sondheim, Aimee Mann, indigo girls, Neil Finn and Crowded House, Richard Thompson, Elvis Costello.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
More than 1! Meeting Ray Charles in Vegas, seeing the Grand Canyon, parasailing off Puerto Vallarta, traveling to Ireland twice and experiencing the wonderful people of that country. I once spent time getting to know the primates on Monkey Beach in Ko Phi Phi, Thailand. Staying in a treehouse near Shreveport, Louisiana. Witnessing the Black Indian tradition on Mardi Gras in Treme, New Orleans. Performing as Elvis in a final night show on a cruise. So many great experiences!
