I try to take as little space as possible on this planet, I'm very concerned about the state of the planet and try to do my best to re-use things or borrow or swap them with friends, recycle as much as possible

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I never had unknown people staying home, next week will be the 1st time ever!
Nevetheless, I often have space for friends or others!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first experience, I have never stayed at people's I don't know....
I've heard about CS a year ago and had a look at the site, but a flash of lightning switched the computer off and then I didn't take time to have another look!

I forgot I stayed 2 weeks at an Indian family in Britain when I was 15, on a language trip, then I stayed 3 times with single people when I was working for EF International as a summer job; also spent a yar as an au-Pair et 9 months as a French language assistant in Wales, so finally I had a couple of experiences with people I didn't know at the beginning!

I run for an hour with a friend every week, I'm fond of walking
I like reading, going out with friends, going to the cinema or the theatre
I enjoy travelling
I'm keen on gardening
I love eating out
I'm crazy about rugby as I come from a rugby place (Toulouse)

I'm not into rap, R&B or heavy metal stuff, but apart from that, I really like any mucic, especially pop music.
No favourite artists really but I like listening to Sting and the Police; Blur, The Cranberries, Texas and many French artists such as Zebda, Juliette, Renaud....
I also enjoy the Carmina Burana, or Purcell
I like reading Tracy Chevalier's books or Marian key's

Films I've liked include 'The Hours'; Good Bye Lenin, Billy Elliott, West Side Story (love singing it too!) I think Susan Sarandon, Meryl Steep, Dustin Hoffman are great
I love British directors such as Mike Leigh, Stephen Frears or Peter Mullan.
