About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I love to travel. I've discovered people make half the journey, so I would love to learn about other peoples cultures and lifestyles, and I would love to teach others about mine.
ABOUT ME
I am an 18 year old Canadian backpacker. I love adventure and trying new things. I'm very open minded, love all (most at least) kinds of foods, sports, everything. My passions are Football (soccer), Music, Cooking, and Travel. I love to get out there and go with the flow, make some memories. I'm very kind, generous, appreciative, and polite. Rather likeable, I've been told.
PHILOSOPHY
Live life to the fullest. Get the best from everything. The glass is always half-full, not half-empty. I'm big into optimism and looking at the bright side of a situation. What I've gained instead of what I've lost. I always love new things, and think it's important to have an open mind, but at the same time be respectful and know the boundaries. For me life is full of adventures waiting to happen, and I want to find them all.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would love to share my experiences and create new ones with fellow travellers, or even people who enjoy trying new things and meeting people.
I'm currently travelling, but if there are good people looking for a space when I'm home I'm sure I would do what I can do show them the culture and a great time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have yet to actually Couch Surf, though I have stayed with families in groups and stayed in many hostels. When I stayed with other families I was a bit younger, so I think I would get a lot more out of the experience now. They always went well however, and I remember all the experiences, and how kind the families were.
Interests
Soccer, guitar, drums, learning a new instrument, any kind of music in general, cooking, trying new things, travelling, meeting new people, getting involved in new cultures, most things involving art, films and film making, languages, basically trying to get the most out of life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Anberlin, Anathallo, The Beatles, Copeland, Coldplay, Death Cab for Cutie, Emery, Foo Fighters, Muse, Farewell Flight, Mogwai, The Shins, Modest Mouse, U2, most things rock/pop/indie. Whatever, although I do enjoy and appreciate anything else, like classical or jazz or blues.
Movies: LOTR, Into the Wild, JUNO, Anchorman, Little Miss Sunshine, Zoolander, Bourne Identity, and many more.
Books: Anything by Ernest Hemingway, Kavalier and Clay, Catcher in the Rye. I don't read that much to be honest, though I do enjoy it when I do.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Been to --> Spain, France, Switzerland, England, Belgium, Italy.
Most fun I've had is skiing the alps, hiking a mountain and living in a 400 year old chalet for a night, playing laser tag in a half-built school (theres a story behind that one).
Watching the FC Barcelona game was amazing, for me atleast. Truly something of beauty.
Teach, Learn, Share
Basically everything I've already says. Just take whatever life throws at you and make the best of it. Get out into the world and have fun, make an adventure for yourself. Have an open mind and don't make too many specific plans, so your free to do whatever, whenever. As a general rule, even if you don't like something, or can't even appreciate it, atleast be respectful and considerate.
Sometimes you have to work hard to play hard, but I find it always pays off. Never quit or give up. Always make the best of everything.
