We are travelling the world on a career break. Visiting 11 countries and want to see as many new things as possible (and eat a lot of good food)

ABOUT ME

Our names are Chris (30) and Sophie (29). We have been together for 5 years. Before we get too old & sensible we decided to take a career break and travel. We are away for 9 months visiting 5 continents and 11 countries. We have mostly been staying in hostels and travelling the "traditional" way but we have recently met a few people who have recommended CS and we want to give it a go!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Dipping our toes in the water to see how it all works, will give it a go while we are away and then look to contribute when we are back home to London and offer our couch etc.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No formal experience, but have had many waifs and strays on our sofa (mostly friends, friends of friends, family or work colleagues after heavy nights out in London town).

Football, cooking/eating/restaurants i.e. anything to do with food, travel, cinema, drinking wine/beer. All the usual.

Rock, Indie, Dance, Jazz, Blues, World. Anything. My dad runs a small record distribution company in London where my brother works. They are both a lot cooler than me and laugh at my music tastes frequently.

On this round the world trip the most amazing thing seen would have to be either great wall of China or the Taj Mahal. Its amazing what people can do if they put their minds to it.
