About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore the sights, sounds, tastes, smells, and cultures of the world while making new friends along the journey.

ABOUT ME

22 year old American student studying at the University of Miami School of Law.
I love to travel and experience new ways of life from around the world while making new friends and connections everywhere I go.
I am very easy going and laid back. I am willing to go just about anywhere or do anything in search of something fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Exploring new places with the knowledge of a local provides a better and more expansive travel experience. Whether it's a simple recommendation for a good restaurant/coffee shop/bar/park or a full blown tour of the city, even the slightest insight to what a city has to offer can make a foreigner feel more welcome and in sync with the city. I'm on couchsurfing to get that experience while traveling and give what I can while hosting.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Anything from Willie Nelson to Paco de Lucia to A Tribe Called Quest. I'll listen to anything.

Books: Mostly interested in nonfiction/historical/geopolitical subjects. I also enjoy reading about my travel destinations. Ex: The Revenge of Geography, A Case of Exploding Mangoes, Guns Germs and Steel, Breaking the Land, A Brief History of Time, Freakonomics, A Concise History of Modern India, Vietnam: The History of an Unwinnable War.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling Vietnam and observing/absorbing the culture through the people. It was humbling to experience the forgiveness of the people for the atrocities of war and inspiring to witness the youth flourishing due to their hunger for knowledge and international awareness.

I've done many cool, perhaps amazing things, but Vietnam has left a permanent mark on me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a decent cook and I love cooking with people. If you have a grill, you could even taste some of my delicious North Carolina BBQ.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to share my knowledge and experience as a student and a traveller! I can share what I know and I want to learn about what I don't.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, United States
