I'm currently a graduate student at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia studying Social Work. I have a love for helping others as well as wanting to try and make the world a better place. My passions currently include hiking, biking, working with foster families, and writing letters.

I have only been able to recently use couchsurfing for conferences that I have gone too to help me grow professionally. While couchsurfing helps me with the cost of going to a conference it also helps me in meeting people in the area.

I went to Montreal, Canada for a leadership conference a few years ago and hiked Mount Royal while I was there. I went by myself, got lost, and a Mountie had to help me find my way. It was also 10 degrees F the whole time.
