To share what I’ve got with people who are cool and appreciative “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.” (Pierre Teilhard de Chardin) if it is true, then I believe it is true that our spiritual accomplishments are our most important accomplishments on our journey here. Everything else is temporary. Today we focus on accomplishing the things that society has deemed important. We tend to think less about spiritual accomplishments but they hold the keys to our identity and our purpose. They bring meaning to our lives. They emerge from both our trials and our successes. They emerge from our highest highs and our lowest lows. Spiritual accomplishments reveal meaning in our suffering. The experience alone is not enough. We must accept, embrace, feel and endure. Come out on the other end and see what we have not seen.
