ABOUT ME

I'm a 26-year old non-nerdy physicist who likes to travel both for the job and for fun (sometimes at the same time). I like to think of myself as open-minded and love to speak English and really like to show people around Berlin. I don't smoke, I like beer over wine, I like rock and indie music (among others) and like LPs over mp3s.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Together with my girlfriend Isabelle I live in an apartment in Berlin where we have a nice sofa bed in our living room to share with single people or couples.
-- I'm also traveling a lot and always looking for a bed in foreign cities, sometimes when I'm alone on a business trip (because I prefer it compared to a hotel or hostel) or when I'm on vacation (then usually with Isabelle).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted couch surfers before in another apartment together with my room mate and I loved it. Couldn't do it though because I moved in with my girlfriend and didn't have a sofa bed -- up to now!

(I also like watching american TV shows like Big Bang Theory, 2 Broke Girls, Happy Endings, Mad Men, etc.)

Music: I mostly like Indie music but also some Rock music of both the present and the 60s/70s.

Books: Nineteen Eighty-Four, Die verlorene Ehre der Katharina Blum, Der Prozess, Fahrenheit 451, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
