ABOUT ME

I work as a builder these days. I'm looking for opportunties in heavy duty timber construction like oak framed buildings or grid-shell construction...

But as for the exciting stuff...I'm starting to piece together a long term travel odyssey...I'd like to cut an overland path from one festival to another around the world. I imagine focusing on film and food festivals, seasonal, religious and traditional celebrations from different cultures.

I want to do it by bicycle and couch surf alot too but I'd also like to hitch hike and use motorcycles and public transport cos I like variety. I'm looking for partners for this odyssey, I want a team! and I'm looking for publication opportunities, maybe a column in a magazine or paper...

It's a big idea, it's got a way to go yet.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that life is too short to be spent working too hard or taking anything too seriously.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first became involved with couch surfing while living in Brazil. Myself and my travelling partners threw big parties for couch surfers, hosted a few people and attended lots of social gatherings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch Surfing allowed us to get to know alot of locals in Rio. This meant that we were able to get really involved with the culture and when we needed help there was always someone there for us.

I think that couch surfing is a revolution.
