About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current goal is to complete either "the loop" or a good "half loop" of the U.S. It will be my first major road trip which I plan to have last between 1.5 - 2 months.

ABOUT ME

Coming Soon:

PHILOSOPHY

I am still discovering myself so I will get back to this one once I have a remote idea.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

From couch surfing, I have not yet had the chance to prove myself. I am hoping for a good opportunity to present itself soon. I am more than willing to help any one in any way I can though. I don't mind a bit of hard work or simple assistance with daily tasks/chores.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I currently have none however I hope to update this box soon!

Interests

Long road trips, hiking, exploration, fishing, some water sports. Pretty much anything dealing with the outdoors. I also enjoy working on motors and learning how things work. I'm the kind of person who thoroughly enjoys taking something apart just to know how it goes back together.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy good comedies and love sci-fi. Favorite actors would consist of Tom Hanks, Adam Sandler, and of course the great Bill Murray! In terms of music, I listen to most all music and have no real set preference. As long as it has a good beat to it and lyrics that make sense, I am quite happy with it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My "amazing thing" may not be very complex or all that great. I have lead a relatively dull life and only in the past few years, have I actually gotten active and spent far more time outdoors. Any ways, A few years ago I was just getting into the sport of wake boarding. My work gave my friends and I access to a decent boat and we spent as much time on the water as we had available. One day I'm out around sunset showing some new friends how to wake board. Water was perfectly glassy, sun setting, no wind and as peaceful as you could ever imagine. I'm up on the board just cruising behind the boat and I notice my friends pointing beside me. I look over and I could not be more amazed, I was essentially wake boarding next to a decent sized pod of dolphin. So that's my "amazing" thing. People can swim with dolphin and such, but I don't hear of many people who actually get a chance to wake board with them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been told that I have a good head on me (for my age especially). I am fairly knowledgeable about motors and quite skilled at trouble shooting. I mostly specialize in personal water craft (Jet skis/Wave runners) and small marine engines. I do quite a bit of work on vehicles as well. I also have a little background in construction (Mostly framing and siding but not limited to just that). I absolutely have a lot to offer or teach someone and of course, am always open to learning how to do something new.
