I love meeting people from all around the world.

I am a first generation Australian. Half Dutch, Quarter German, 1/8 Irish and 1/8 Hungarian. All of this came via New Zealand and the United States, so I feel like a person of the world.

I lived in Brisbane, Australia for most of my life. I have traveled to many places. I have lived in Germany twice, most recently for 4 years before moving to Los Angeles.

I try to find something positive in every situation. I admire honesty and sticking to ones word. I admire passionate people.

I live my life to gain an understanding of things I do not know. I like to find out about the differences in cultures and communities. I would rather have new experiences shared with great people rather than spending my time and money solely on possessions.

I mainly listen to various forms of music from classical, to pop, to EDM, to punk, to metal. Any form of live music also does it for me. IMHO, music is best enjoyed with other people.

My favourite genre of movie is dystopian sci-fi. However, seeing as good movies in this genre are few and far between I watch everything from Hollywood blockbusters to obscure Arthouse films.

I have been known to read anything from true stories to romance to fantasy. I have also read a lot of technical material.

I am learning to surf at the moment.

I hope to one day learn the piano again. But first I need to buy a weighted keyboard.

I have a PhD in computer science, so if you want to know how the internet, your computer or your favorite piece of software works, I can try my best to explain it to you.
