just left my job of two years, taking the summer off of school...and decided that I need to get out and see more of the world!
I was born and raised in San Francisco, and I've lived here almost all my life. For the last two years I've been working a pretty tedious job at a bank, in a cubicle, and going to school at night. It's been a busy but productive schedule, but now I need to go to the opposite extreme, and do some traveling and start enjoying my time more. Here in California, I like to take weekend trips to Tahoe, camping, go see live music, or just go out to a local bar with friends. I'm really excited about traveling around Europe and very excited about the future, which is now wide open.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just signed up for couch surfing because various friends have suggested it when I told them about my upcoming trip.
No traveling couch experience, but I've slept on plenty of friends couches to avoid late night taxis.
live music, bike riding, the ocean, jogging, occasional drinks with friends, camping, swimming, surfing..although very out of practice, anything new that sounds fun.
- live music
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies - I like all kinds...action, comedy, and drama. A couple I like are Snatch, Back to the future, dumb and dumber.
Music - recently I've been listening to a lot of Muse, Band of Horses, Hockey, Pretty Lights, and hip-hop from the '90s
Books - I realize I need to start reading books that aren't for school.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've been involved with the banking industry since just before the financial crisis up until recently. I've seen the expansion from a brokers point of view, to the contraction of credit and increase of risk from a large conservative banks point of view.
I've also studied Urban Planning and have a strong interest in various sustainable practices. I've also taken a variety of classes in chem, bio, and math, and continue to have a strong interest in new developments in various fields.
