I'm a documentary filmmaker with a particular interest in food. My next big job is coming up in Iran, where I'm hoping to show a different side of Iran behind the headlines. My speciality is food, so I love to cook and eat with the people I meet as I travel.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I've had such good times travelling when I was younger using Couchsurfing and remembered how amazing it was to be shown around the cities I was visiting by people who actually lived there. Given what I do for a living now, it only seems to make sense that I should try to recapture that experience of meeting real people when I'm travelling.

Oh god, everything. Musically, I like anything with a bit of heart. Can't stand cynically mass-produced pop, but pretty easy otherwise. Movies vary - I'm into the likes of LA Confidential, The Usual Suspects, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Withnail and I. I read voraciously. Top authors - Anthony Bourdain, Evelyn Waugh, Bret Easton Ellis and Haruki Murakami.

As for what I have to share? I love food, and know an awful lot about it - it is my job to learn more about it each day. I'm a good cook, and will very happily cook with you or for you. I've lived enough to have some good stories from London and further afield.
