ABOUT ME

Easy-going, friendly and down-to-earth guy with a hope to see more of the world. I'm still fairly inexperienced in CouchSurfing but so far it has been a great experience to meet you guys.

I have been living in Switzerland nearly 4 years and take advantage of the nature here by hiking, skiing, climbing and sailing down the river in the summer time.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to balance my mind and body, to focus on the positive aspects of life, to be introspective and critical of myself and open and inviting to the world so that I may grow as an individual.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Been surfing a bit but otherwise I've been using the local network to meet and hang out with new people - hope to some day host myself when I get a flat for it (or an extra mattress).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only had three stays so far; one in London, the second as I was searching for a place to live in Bern and third as I was skiing in Pizol. Aside from that I've gotten to know some great people through the network and I'm confident there's even more to come!

Música, películas y libros

My tastes are fairly diverse but hopefully the info below will narrow is slightly down.

Movies: Into the wild, Memento, V for Vendetta to name a few.
Music: I can appreciate most, with the exception of the heaviest of metals.
Books: Yes please ;-). I enjoy fiction (mostly sci-fi & fantasy) but has lately taken a liking to books that are discussing or shedding light on problems in the world.

Travel-wise: Sailed the river Nile, playing chess beneath the summer sun while slowly gliding along the waters surrounded by desert on either side.

Sciency: Visited CERN and saw the massive, underground detectors at the LHC; metal and wirings all over to in these marvels of technology which are currently probing the most fundamental aspects of nature.
