About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world and to meet the people there. To get experience the different cultures.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in Australia and as soon as I had some money to travel I did a quick 3 month trip on my own around the world to see how I liked it, and I loved it.
I recently moved overseas (from Australia) to work for around 12-18 months in Switzerland. One of the things I'm trying to do is to see and experience many different places in Europe. I really appreciate being able to see a country or a city through the eyes of a local, but also being able to take my own time to see it.
As for me personally, rather than just travelling. I like a laugh and I've even been known to tell a few good stories. I'm easy going and when I need to be I can be up front.
PHILOSOPHY
Treat people with respect and enjoy life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm travelling around while I'm in Europe (currently working in Switzerland) and I'm trying to see places throught the eyes of a local.
I'd offer a couch to sleep on but I'm currently living in a shared apartment which makes it more difficult. However, I'm always keen to catch up for a coffee or beer. To swap a few stories and to hear other peoples experiences.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm new to this!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Eclectic.... so far example - Powderfinger, Muse, Daft Punk, REM, U2, John Butler Trio, Midnight Oil, Sound track to Amelie, the list goes on, and on.
I like books, I've even started to read a few again. Two authors I like are Phillip K. Dick and Paul Coelho.
Movies: I prefer the ones that have a plot and also comedy. I really like Wedding Crashers, The Departed and Blood Diamond.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling through south-east Asia. Moving to live in Switzerland (from Australia) and backpacking around the world (very quickly) on my own for 3 months.
Teach, Learn, Share
The best thing I've learnt so far is that a smile goes a long way. Also, language isn't that much of a barrier if you can wave your hands around to show what you mean.
Countries I’ve Visited
Cambodia, Canada, France, Germany, Laos, New Zealand, Singapore, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam
Countries I’ve Lived In
Australia, Switzerland
