ABOUT ME

A few passions in my life: cooking, cycling and good design :)
Love all kinds of music from hip-hop to minimal techno! Recently got into poi which is great for the co-ordination and the meditation. Currently work the rickshaws in Edinburgh at the weekend for pocket money. During the week I work on my flat in Dundee and on designs for my portfolio.
I like the unusual and the unique. I like listening to stories and using my imagination to escape the mundane. I get itchy feet if i'm in one place for too long and need to keep moving to avoid stalling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a rickshaw driver in Edinburgh I take great pride in showing off the city to tourists. I couldn't do it if I didn't love the city! I've only recently got to know about this couch surfing but I love the concept. I think to get to know a city, the best way is through someone who lives, breathes, eats and sleeps there. I'd show off the more unusual things that are harder to find. It's great when it's not about money but just about sharing experiences!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A pedicabber friend of mine introduced me to this when he got back from travelling and he lets people stay with him and has nothing but good things to say about the people who use the network. I've stayed on his couch a few times too!
