Hello everyone! My name is Chris I am 29 years old, originally from Monaghan, Ireland but now based from Dublin for the last 12+ years.

Travelling and seeing the world has always been the thing that brings me the most joy but also I love to meet and connect with the people of this earth.

I am very openminded and love to experience and understand all types of cultures and ways of life. You can never be cultured enough and we can always learn and improve!

I have a huge passion for music of all genres, and love to try catch a live show when I am travelling. I have been to countless concerts around the world and love the combination of travelling and music coming together. If we are meeting up I would love to talk music!

I love animals and work with a dog rescue in Dublin to help rehome rehabilitated dogs and have also fostered when I can. So you could also say I want to meet all the animals of the world too :)

I originally used couchsurfing way back in the early days in 2011. Have recently decided to utilise this amazing platform again and I am very excited to see what it brings!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although I have travelled a bit, I have not seen as much of the world as I would like to. Financial constraints have held me back and with being based in one of the cities with the highest cost of living in Europe it is not easy to work towards this goal.

However my desire to make connections with people worldwide is what brought me to couchsurfing. I think getting to meet people and experience parts of the world through the eyes of the locals is something that cannot be matched. Sharing stories of our lives and our travel experience can bring you a wealth of knowledge and opportunity that you may not receive otherwise.

And sure if you can save some money along the way it is a great bonus!
