Hi I’m chrissy and I’m currently traveling the world looking to explore new cultures and ways of living! I would love to learn your story, have good conversations, and enjoy a good meal!

I quit my San Francisco corporatish job in September 2017 with no plan other than to explore the world and redefine a version of “success”.
8 months later and I still get excited about visiting new countries and getting lost in random cities.

A few details of my travels thus far:
- Sailing the Gulf of Naples (I would highly recommend although it’s ridiculously expensive)
-Jungle Trekking in the rainforest in Ko Chang, Thailand
- Snorkeling in the Andaman Sea (highly overrated)
- Snorkeling in the Gulf of Thailand ( highly underrated)
- Volunteered to teach English to children in Lolei, Cambodia
- Volunteered with a Chinese family in their guest houses in Melaka, Malaysia during Chinese New Year
- Volunteered at a permaculture and Buddhism project in Khon Kaen, Thailand
- getting dropped off in the middle of a high way in Vietnam in the pouring rain

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
